I like the space between disciplines.

I'm a Senior Frontend Engineer interested in the point where interface design, engineering and systems thinking meet.

A lot of my work has involved translating between those layers: turning design systems into usable infrastructure, turning complicated product states into understandable interactions, and building tooling that helps other engineers create consistent interfaces.

I've always been drawn to the relationship between art, science and technology. At companies I've worked for I've given internal sessions on Leonardo da Vinci — less art history than a study of what happens when curiosity doesn't respect disciplinary boundaries.

That's the same reason I find design engineering interesting. The problems worth solving tend to sit between two disciplines rather than inside one.
